About the room
The Beaches is such a special place (if you know, you know). It’s one of Toronto’s quietest, safest, most tree-filled neighbourhoods — and our street is no exception. The trees here are off the hook, and the whole area has a calm, community vibe that feels like a little escape from busy Toronto (if you like that kind of thing).
We live in a house that’s been divided into apartments. Our apartment has two kitchens, two bathrooms, a living room, 3 porches - a lot of tiny rooms! We have a peaceful yet cozy apartment that features a real piano. The basement laundry room and a shared art studio is accessed from outside. It is perfect for creative projects - Lino, watercolour, markers, screen printing and more!
Included: Heat, hydro and electric, Internet, Toiletpaper, A few other household things, We have a cleaning lady who comes 2x a month - but you are still expected to share in cleaning duties.
About the roomies
Welcome to the home of well-travelled Hannah and her kiddo, B! We’re an artistic little household full of creativity and good energy. By day, Hannah teaches English and Art at a public school for newcomers to Canada. By night, she’s a mom, artist, and jack-of-many-trades. Multilingual book creator, Yogi into Breathwork, self-improvement and ice dipping. B is a curious student, budding artist, avid soccer player, and full of jumping beans. Sumi is a professional photographer/barista and an insanely talented visual artist.
There will be 4 and 1/2 roommates because B is only there for half of the week. We are morning people. Our home is usually quiet after 10.
We’re hoping to share our home with artsy, open-minded people — especially artists and people who are learning English and want to live in a warm, creative space.
Fragrance-free. Female roomies preferred.
