About the room
First 2 photos are current, the rest are from an old rental listing. One of my roommates is moving out of our 3 bedroom townhouse in the Queen Alexandra neighbourhood, leaving the largest room free. The room has blue-grey walls, two closets, and a large east-facing window. The house is close to UofA and Whyte Ave, and accessible by foot, bike, or transit–Ive taken up the parking spot but there’s always parking across the street too. Total rent is 1,700 + utilities, which has been around $650 each so far. There’s one full bathroom upstairs and another half bath downstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a deep freeze, and we share the washer/dryer with the basement suite. There’s also a small garden in the backyard if you’d like to do some gardening (I know I will!) We’re looking to have someone move in February and stay at least until the lease is up at the end of August, but we can also discuss extending the lease. About the roomies
I’m Riel, I’m 24 and currently studying Environmental Science at the UofA. I’m easygoing, introverted, and relatively clean and organized. My roommate Gladys is 23, she’s very kind and generous, and also in school but working from home part-time. We would appreciate a roommate who’s considerate, communicative, and responsible. We’re happy to either give you your space or hang out together–as long as we can work together to make this a nice place to call home, it’s all good!
