About the room
We are renting an UNFURNISHED room (a new queen bed, rods+curtains and a heater can be sold for $375. We’ll prioritize people who can buy them.) in a charming character house in Hastings Sunrise. Near 1st and Renfrew.
The room is upstairs, on the second floor, unfurnished, and has storage space. Rent is $886 (+ half deposit) plus utilities which come up to $50 a month.
The House: The main floor consists of the kitchen, dining room, bathroom with a shower/tub, living room, 2 bedrooms, and back porch area. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a half bathroom. Washer and dryer are located in the basement. We have a big back yard with a garden (we grow herbs in the summer). Parking is available on the street. No pets sorry, landlord’s rules. The house has a main floor and second floor, plus a shared basement space for your bike. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop which takes you to downtown in 30 minutes, 15-20 min walk to the Renfrew Skytrain station and 10 minutes walk to the 9/99.
About the roomies
About us: We’re 3 young professionals in our early- mid 30s. Easy going and outdoorsy people, with various hobbies (theater, arts, ski, board, bike, climb, hike, read, etc.). We all have an active and busy lifestyle, but we enjoy hanging out, having a chat, patio beers whenever we are free!
