Winterized and insulated cabin for rent next to a waterfront, year-round log home. The cabin is a bedroom just off the main house and has power. It does not have its own kitchen or bathroom; those are shared in the main house. Shared with 3 friendly, considerate people.

Very quiet and peaceful setting on 2.5 acres. Most of it is forest.
Lots of wildlife (birds, butterflies, frogs, rabbits, fireflies). This place is a sanctuary for pollinators. I raised monarch butterflies this year.
Access to the lake is down a few sets of stairs. The shoreline is muddy, but it’s swimmable if you don’t mind the vegetation. There’s a canoe you can use to paddle the lake and there’s a skating rink in winter.
High-speed internet and utilities are included. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. Fully stocked kitchen. Heat is propane and electric.
Dogs considered, but I’m allergic to cats.
22 minutes from Perth, 1 hour from Kingston, 1.5 hours from Ottawa. Located in Tay Valley.
