The property has a gym and onsite laundry included, as well as underground parking that would be included with a fee. It’s about a 15 minute bus ride from McMaster, and close to the Jackson Square urban core area, as well as the Locke Street and Hess areas. The only utility that is included in the rent is hydro, however wifi, electricity and insurance rarely goes over an extra 127.87 (and this price is typically the summer months.) The room itself does come with a wooden twin bed frame, or I have a spare black metal one that can be used as well. The room is also about 11’3 by 9’0, and has comfortably for the bed with a desk and two small sized dressers. The apartment is also rent controlled, and does go up roughly a small bit each year.

Hello! My name is Hope and I’m a 23 year old working professional hoping to rent out the spare bedroom in my apartment for February of 2026. I do work in the social services field, and my schedule sometimes has me coming in and out randomly when I’m working as well due to it being shift work. I would love to get to know a potential roommate over a cup of coffee however, or a phone call as well. I am also planning to have a pet at some point, specifically looking into getting my own cat that we could discuss about before you moved in.
