The house has a large open kitchen and has had renovations throughout. A few minor ones are still needed but there are furnishings in the Living Room, DR and dressers in the bedroom. There is also an electric fireplace in the basement to enjoy while working and/or waiting for laundry. No bicycle parking inside the house but could be in back of gated yard. Street parking available for vehicles with a permit for weekdays. 10-12 minute walk to UofW // 2 minute walk to Sargent Avenue transit // 2 minute walk to Notre Dame Avenue transit // 17 min bus to RRC Princess Campus // 30 min bus to RRC Notre Dame campus // UofM Blueline bus route at the UofW Balmoral Station stop. Ameneties include 2 large grocery stores, other corner stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacies, medical clinics, parks.
One housemate is currently renting the primary bedroom. There is a resident doggie in the house and there are community cats in the yard outside. Each person needs to be participate in cleaning and garbage schedule and everyone should keep open communication for chats to keep apprised of updates on schedules, especially if someone is away for more then a couple of nights so others don’t worry. Overnight guests should be approved by other housemates. This is a shared house and that means participating together. The internet is also a shared cost ( $44 between however many housemates are renting). Additionally the owner visits occasionally to do the odd fix up. This house is suitabke for students or employed persons.
