Medium sized bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment located a few blocks from Rideau and uOttawa. Apartment is shared with my partner and I, as well as our 2 cats. Our cats are young and playful, neutered males. The room comes unfurnished but comfortably holds a double bed, desk, dresser, side table, and bookshelf. The room comes with a closet big enough to stand in. The apartment is cozy and comfortable with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room. There is no room to bring a couch but there is room for a bookshelf, tv, a small table, some decorative items, etc. The lease is shared between all occupants and totals 1850 in rent, including free washer/dryer in the basement and water usage. Internet is $40 per month for 1.5gbps fiber and comes with access to a wired or wireless connection. Hydro is approximately 80-100 per month, split between all occupants. There is street parking and nearby lots but no building parking. The landlord requires a credit score of 640, pay stubs for 3 months, and valid government ID. You are a good fit for this room of you don’t have an entire apartment worth of furniture, you work a steady job either part or full time, you are well kept and organized, you smoke outdoors if applicable, and you are open to communicating boundaries and expectations. My partner and I are pretty chill people. I work full time at a trading card store and aim to work in cybersecurity upon finishing my undergraduate. My partner is in-between jobs and is seeking a part time position more suited to their strengths and accommodating of their needs. You won’t see me around much unless I am cooking or having a friend over for dinner and drinks. I enjoy music but not too loud, and I am usually up to play some videogames. I fit the computer/tcg/music nerd stereotype, and my partner is more of a sociology/occult/music nerd stereotype. Our two cats are calm half the time and run around like crazy the other half. They are almost always up for some play or cuddles and will love you for the price of a few treats. Their names are Goober and Binou.
