Jess and Magz offer phone, zoom, WhatsApp or Google interviews and virtual tours once you’ve read our full ad and can tell us your favourite chores. If a virtual vibe check feels right, we’ll invite you over.

We are welcoming a roommate who keeps common areas clean and tidy, and who shares our quiet hours of approx 11pm-8am. We strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive home with intentional relationships. We’re offering 1 small (9’ x9’) furnished bedroom in our 3-bedroom townhouse/rooming house.

About the Space: Whole townhouse shared between the occupants. 3 levels including 1.5 bathrooms (1 shower-bath), 3 bedrooms, large kitchen, large living room, a 3/4 finished basement rec room, laundry room, garden with patio set and BBQ.

WEEKLY RENT, no long term commitment required, just always do your share of the chores and pay your share on time. We don’t lock you into a long term commitment because we only want to live together as long as it works for everyone involved. Each week together we renew our commitment to the upkeep of the home and continued good vibes.

References, work history, government issued photo ID, and credit check required to apply. We are thorough. Accessibility: Bus routes #13 and #1 are 50 meters from the front door. #90 Express Bus is a walk across the Wellington street bridge up to Grand Ave (5min). My average bus commute to UWO is 20-30min depending on traffic. Fanshawe College Main Campus is approx 30 minutes. A 20 minute walk to downtown & Fanshawe College downtown campus OR Old South. FREE PARKING in our assigned spot, plus 7 visitor parking spots. Free street parking, and other nearby free parking is available for your guests.

We’re NOT wheelchair accessible. We have 3 stairs up to our unit (no hand railing). Full flight of stairs (yes hand railing) to bedroom and basement.

Again we must stress: NO PETS, NO SMOKING / VAPING, NO LOUD DISRUPTIONS. Magz and Jess work hard and want to come home to a clean, peaceful place to de-stress. The pictures we posted are how we like to house to look most of the time. It will look like the pics when you tour it and almost every day you live here.

Unfortunately we can’t live with any pets due to a variety of allergies, which is also why we keep our home very clean. No dust, no crumbs, no dishes left on the counter. There is still plenty of time to ensure prospective roomies are a good fit. Please message us to ask anything we haven’t addressed here.

Our interviews and virtual tours can be scheduled during awake hours daily. No Smokers, No pets, no lingering messes.

We are mature professionals (40&50) who prefer a quiet house to work from home in. Our Disabilities necessitate our full and uninterrupted sleep. No parties, but polite friends who you take full responsibility for are always welcome over. Please try not to host sleep overs on consecutive nights. We don’t.
