A bright, spacious loft room is available in a quiet shared home in Upper Lonsdale. The room is furnished with a queen bed, shelving, and a couch, and we can remove items or help you find a desk if needed. A private kitchenette sits just outside your door on the top floor with a hotplate, toaster oven, kettle, microwave, and fridge. You can also use the main kitchen when needed.

The room offers excellent privacy. A west facing window provides beautiful sunset views over English Bay. Please note that the loft has a low ceiling and is best suited for someone under six feet tall.

Rent includes all utilities, high speed internet, and housekeeping of the common areas. You only need to tidy up after yourself. We have one friendly dog and one cat and are open to having one more cat in the home. You will have full access to laundry and two shared bathrooms.

The home is located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood surrounded by natural beauty. Trails, parks, and forest access are three blocks away. Grouse Mountain is a five minute drive, Capilano University is ten minutes away, and SFU is about thirty minutes. The location is halfway between the Lion’s Gate and Second Narrows Bridges, making it easy to reach downtown Vancouver, Burnaby, or East Vancouver in about fifteen minutes. Upper Lonsdale’s amenities are close by, and the north shore’s hiking and mountain biking network begins only a few minutes from the house. Several ski hills are also within a thirty minute drive.

Transit to downtown Vancouver and the rest of the Lower Mainland is right outside the door. There is plenty of free street parking and secure bicycle storage.

We are a small, friendly household. It is just me and my sixteen year old son. We keep a clean, welcoming home and tend to focus on our work and studies. We prefer someone who is also respectful, considerate, and not interested in heavy drinking, drug use, or partying.
