I’m looking for a respectful, reliable tenant to take over my room starting December 1st. I’m moving out to live with my girlfriend, and since the one-year lease has ended, the rental is now month-to-month with the option to stay longer. Rent is $1,150 + $100 for utilities, which includes Wi-Fi, water, heat, toilet paper, and other essentials. The room is a spacious, furnished bedroom (bed and dressers included; desk not included) with great natural light and a nice window view. You’ll also have an extra closet just outside the room for storage, as well as access to a shed in the backyard. The location is excellent—just steps from Chong Lee Market and nearby Asian restaurants, and about a 5-minute bus ride to Nanaimo Station. You’ll be sharing a 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom house with friendly roommates who enjoy music (guitar, drums, singing) and love outdoor activities like hiking and camping. They’re hoping for someone who shares similar interests and will fit in with the positive, social atmosphere of the home. There is also a super-friendly orange cat living in the house; however, no additional pets are allowed.
