I have a fairly large house with a big yard (pond and flowers). It’s a two-story (so not wheelchair accessible).

You would have one single bedroom (south-facing) and a full bathroom to yourself. The room has a sit/stand electric desk and office chair. There’s a nightstand with drawers, a dresser and a walk-in closet. Fully furnished (sheets/bedding/towels/etc.)

Parking is in the driveway with power.

I have streaming services, many kitchen appliances if you enjoy cooking (mixers, vitamix, air fryer, espresso maker), two living rooms (one with a gas fireplace and vaulted ceilings). I have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, fridges/freezers, pantry space, etc. I’m also reasonably close to the Meewasin Trail, if you enjoy skiing, biking, or simply walking by the river. The house has AC in the summer as well.

I wouldn’t mind if you had small pets (rats, gerbils, hamsters, etc.), but I think adding another dog/cat to the mix might be too much.
Other stuff included - TP, detergent, cleaners, etc.

I’m a professor at the U of S and I often travel for work (anywhere between 3-14 days). I love animals, which is why I have so many. They are all rescues that needed homes, and although quirky, they are a lot of fun. I have also raised orphaned raccoons for over 10 years (see Bandit Ranch Rehab on FB).

Your other roommates will be four dogs (a malamute, a border collie, a border terrier, and a big black dog mix). I have three cats - a laid back fat orange guy named Carl and two cats born without eyeballs.

I am looking for someone who LOVES animals and can stay with the dogs/cats when I travel. Rent will be $0 for those months.
