My roommate of one year is moving in with her partner at the end of the year and now I’m looking for a new person to share this wonderful place with in the new year! It’s a 700 sqft 2br 1.5ba apartment near Clark and E 12th Ave. :)

— The place — We are facing west to a small garden and only have minimal road noise! The room is unfurnished, but I have quite a few things to share in terms of furniture as seen in the images! We also have in-unit washer and dryer. I also installed a (clear) tarp over part of the balcony for dry bike storage. There is a good amount of storage that isn’t shown in photos. One extra water heater cabinet downstairs and one closet upstairs.

Measurements for the room at 3.3m by 2.8m, with one corner slightly cut in with the door!

Location is amazingly central and 10 minute walk to Commercial Broadway Station, as well as 7 min walk to 99 B-Line.

A bit about myself, I’m a 29 year old Austrian VFX professional having lived all over the place in flat shares all my life. I’m big into climbing, meal prepping, progressivism, and sustainability where possible. I love sharing food and am a pretty laid back, figure-things-out kind of person, respectful of shared spaces and privacy. I’m also vegan but while there’s a preference for less meat, I don’t mind it! Tidy- and cleanliness are important to me to a minor extent, to keep our shared space in order, though with two of us it should be easy. My work is hybrid, but I am in the office most of the time, and then I’m also in the bouldering gym a bunch in the evenings. I’m not big into partying, but love to share a drink in the evening occasionally maybe next to some food, but celebrations for new roommates will be had!
