Large friendly cooperative household in the Glebe is looking for a new housemate. Available January 1.

The current household is a balance of gender and generations. We are child friendly. No pets please. We share food and household expenses, chores, and kindnesses. We are politically progressive and try to be environmentally responsible. Looking for person of similar interests, with interesting tales to tell.

The house has a large kitchen, 3 living rooms, 6 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 bathrooms, office space, basement with laundry and a big backyard with vegetable and flower garden. Current room available is the “green” room on the 3rd floor with access to deck ($971.82/month Rents increase 2.1% on Nov. 1. Included is heat, electricity, water and high-speed internet.

Five folks looking to fill one room. Dan & Angela are a couple who participated in establishing the co-op many years ago. Angela is an environmental and community activist. Dan is a PhD. consulting economist and recently retired. Ted does research and organizing for a union. Kate S. works in public health doing substance use research. Kate M. is a busy graduate student in public history.
