About the room
The space is a basement apartment located near Tim Hortons Field which includes a private bathroom with a shower, kitchenette/dining space, bedroom, and living room. The entrance is shared with myself (the homeowner) & my partner as well as the upstairs kitchen.
The kitchenette has a mini fridge, hot plate and microwave. However, there is no oven. Plates, mugs, bowls and some utensils included.
Partially furnished: couch, coffee table, dining table (with chairs), desk, double bed and dresser.
Cost is $900/month (includes heat, hydro, water, wifi, laundry).
The laundry is in the basement and shared with my partner and I. We will need access a couple times a week but can arrange to do it when you are out!
The backyard is not shared but you are welcome to hang on the front porch.
About the roomies
My partner and I live upstairs, we’re a queer couple in our 30s. We have a corgi named Cedar and a cat named Rigatoni (Rig).
We are pretty quiet, we do not host parties, just the occasional dinner party or craft night. I work early Monday to Friday so am usually in bed before 10pm.
Preference is for a roommate who is LGBTQ+
