Located within approximately 5 minute walk to OC Transpo buses. Bedroom (bright with large window) bathroom (shower, sink & toilet) recently updated with access to semiprivate living space including a gas fireplace on same level. Shared laundry. Kitchen on the main level is large open concept opening up to main floor dining room, living room and casual eating area.

Parking is available in driveway with additional cost. No storage for broken down vehicles and driveway is not meant as an outdoor car repair area.

Located in Kanata within the Glenn Cairn North neighborhood close to Hazeldean & Castlefrank. The house is at the end of street comprised of all detached homes with mostly retired individuals or couples and some younger families. Close proximity to numerous elementary and one secondary schools and by bus to Algonquin College.

Walking distance to Ottawa Public Library, outdoor swimming pool and plenty of walking paths and trails with many of the trails cleared year round.

Walking distance to grocery stores and very short distance by bus to major should not malls by bus.

Shared upstairs (main floor) with owners of the house and their dog. Any prospective tenants must be good with the dog. No additional pets permitted.

Tenant is responsible for keeping their living space clean and tidy at all times. We are adults and we are looking for a mature, responsible and respectful person to be renting the space supplied.

Maximum stay is to be determined once the individual has been renting for 10 to 11 months with extensions agreed upon as needed.

Availability is flexible depending on individual and circumstances of the rental terms and agreement.

Owners John & Cathie have been over the years renovating and updating the home and property. The home is a bungalow with fully finished basement. John is retired, Cathie works outside of the home and on some days she may be working from the home office.

Both owners are non smokers and fairly quiet. John is very active doing various dog sports with his dog. Freya is friendly but can be protective when she doesn’t know the person. She is very active outside but calm indoors. If she barks it is for a reason often that someone has arrived. Mostly you wouldn’t know there is a dog in the home.
