I live in a two-bedroom apartment in an older, well-maintained building with newly renovated fixtures. The layout is ideal for shared living, with the two bedrooms separated by a bathroom, allowing for privacy. The unit is located on the ninth floor and faces south, offering a beautiful view of the Toronto skyline and the lake, with a clear outline of the downtown core. The apartment is five stops north of the subway and provides easy access to downtown by transit, with an approximate commute of 35 minutes. The neighbourhood is vibrant and convenient, with Food Basics and Sobeys both within a 5–7 minute walk, as well as many excellent restaurants along the Danforth. The Pape and Danforth public library is also easily accessible. Utilities would be split, with hydro averaging around $30 per month and high-speed internet approximately $50 per month. I’m hoping to find a considerate roommate who values a calm home environment and treats shared spaces with care.
