2 Bedroom 1 Bath 15th Avenue SW Calgary. Looking for a roommate to take over the spare bedroom and co-sign on the apartment with me for March 1st.

The Building:

• Secure, well-managed building with:
• Controlled entry & video surveillance
• Two elevators and two large stairwells
• On-site gym
• Optional underground parking (monthly fee)
• Free street parking available

The Apartment:

• On the second floor of the building
• 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom
• In-suite brand new washer & dryer (free to use anytime)
• Dishwasher, stove
• Large living room and patio with lots of natural lighting

Shared Spaces:

• The living room is mostly unused by me and is flexible for your needs and wants. You’re welcome to set it up as a living room, office, or hybrid space however you please. I do have a TV and a leather couch that you’re free to use.

Your Room:

• Sliding-door closet
• Decent-sized window
• Comfortably fits a queen bed, bedside table, and shelving or TV stand

Rent & Lease Details:

• I set rent as $950/month, all inclusive (electricity, water, heating, internet, and renters insurance)
• Rent usually falls closer to $920–$940, but can vary slightly with electricity usage
• Heat and water are included by the building and does not affect the fluctuating cost of rent
• You would be required to co-sign the lease and be added to the renters insurance, as required by building management.

Cannabis & Smoking:

• The building permits smoking and cannabis use outdoors only, such as in the courtyard, or outside the building, and not on balconies, per management rules.
• Personally I’m relaxed about it.

Open to taking more photos, or showing the apartment off on request.

You’d be sharing the apartment with me a 31 year old female a full time university student at Mount Royal in the Massage Therapy Program, and my three well loved cats.

I would describe myself as chill, open minded, and a little nerdy.

I’m fairly cleanly, but relaxed. I understand people’s standards might be less or more than mine, and I’m willing to meet people’s needs. I tend to clean up the kitchen and bathroom after use, and do a weekly deep clean of chores that don’t get maintained throughout the week. My cat’s needs are my responsibility and are tended to.

At home, I’m pretty low key, and usually keep to my room studying, reading, or hanging out with friends online playing games. I’m mindful of my level of noise, and like to keep a calm atmosphere.

When I’m out, it’s typically for school, or the gym. I enjoy cooking and baking, and am happy to share food now and then, especially if you’re open to occasionally pitching in for ingredients.

I’m cool with guests, if they’re respectful and I’m given notice, I just personally don’t host often myself, and I’m comfortable with different schedules.

I’m looking for someone responsible, reliable, and genuinely cat friendly who wants a relaxed, respectful shared home. Nerds and gamers welcomed.
