The suite is a fully furnished two bedroom one bathroom ground level walkout suite in Oyama. It’s a cozy and bright space with beautiful lake, mountain, and orchard views in a welcoming and peaceful location. 

$1050 per month includes a cute room with a comfortable queen sized bed, ample storage space, an adjustable window and ceiling fan for natural light and fresh air, all the utilities and WIFI, in-suite laundry, and central heating and air conditioning. All kitchen cookware and appliances plus bedding and towels are already here waiting for you, just grab your personal belongings and move in. Looking for a longer term tenant, at least three months, preferably longer. $525 damage deposit required.   The suite is surrounded by raised garden beds that are available for growing your own vegetables, there is a sheltered outdoor patio area with padded patio furniture and a BBQ available for use, and there is spacious on-street parking available for two vehicles. Absolutely no smoking or vaping indoors, and no parties on the property. Indoor cats are allowed, but dogs are not.

The suite is within a roughly five minute walk to the northbound Route90 bus stop, and a seven minute walk to the southbound Route90 bus stop. The northbound bus gets you to Vernon’s Okanagan College, Vernon’s downtown core, and beyond, and the southbound bus gets you to the nearby shops and services of Lake Country, the University of British Columbia Okanagan(UBCO), the Kelowna International Airport(YLW), Kelowna’s downtown core, and beyond.

The location of the northbound Route90 bus stop is the gateway to an outdoor recreation and nature lover’s paradise on a non-motorized yet paved section of a transportation corridor called Pelmewash Parkway that allows for safe and enjoyable walking, running, cycling, and rollerblading. Pelmewash Parkway also allows quick access to other amazing opportunities such as the world class Okanagan Rail Trail and Spion Kop forested hiking trails which offer further outdoor recreation and stunning views of the surrounding valleys, lakes, mountains, orchards, and wineries.

Pelmewash Parkway parallels the shore of Wood Lake, and the Okanagan Rail Trail parallels the shores of Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake, both lakes of which are connected by a canal offering abundant chances for kayaking, paddle boarding, beach going, fishing, and swimming in pristine and tropical colored waters all within a five minute walk of the suite. Depending on the weather in winter time, there may even be cross country skiing and ice skating available on the naturally frozen lake. There is a bike and kayak available for you to use if you are interested but don’t have your own.

Within a roughly eighteen minute walk of the suite is the Oyama General Store, Oyama E-bike & Paddleboard rentals, OKF Grill, Lakeside Grill, Gatzke’s local fruit market, Pedego E-bike rentals, Folktale Craft Cidery, Lil Reds Cafe, Pane Vino Pizzeria, and the very rejuvenating Oyama Public Sauna. Driving and cycling significantly reduce the above mentioned walking times. Drive 45 minutes from the suite and you are at Vernon’s world renowned SilverStar Mountain Resort. Drive 70 minutes and you are at Kelowna’s world renowned Big White Ski Resort.
