Looking for a roomie to share a fully furnished room in my beautiful 2- bedroom, 2- bathroom apartment in Kitsilano/Point Grey, anytime starting February.   Rent: $1400/month (includes all utilities:  Heat, AC, Electricity, High-speed internet, Water, Gym, etc.) but require you to dog-sit when I travel.   The apartment is spacious and bright, with some views of the North Shore mountains. Centrally located near MacDonald and 4th with easy walkable access to everything—grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, public transit, and entertainment. It is also just a 2-minute walk to the sea front, and a bus stop right in front of the building.   The Room comes fully furnished (queen bed with sheets), and the space includes: • Closet and Shelves. • A dresser for use. • In-suite laundry. • Fully equipped kitchen, with oven, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher. • Fully furnished shared living space with a sectional couch, lounge chair, dining table, TV (has netflix, prime, crave, disney). • Balcony (north facing, covered) with beautiful tree and mountain views. • Freshly renovated Gym in the building for use. • Secure bike parking in the garage.   I am looking for a non-smoker [preferably] woman who: • Is extremely clean. I am very particular about cleanliness – so that is a must for all shared spaces: no shoes in house at any time, clean kitchen and dishes after cooking etc. • Respectful: I am a queer woman of colour with friends from all walks of life. • Is a good communicator and considerate roommate • Easy going, considerate, loves dogs (I have one), responsible.   If you are Interested then please send a brief message including: • A short introduction about yourself • What you do (work and/or school) • How long you plan to stay • Are you willing to follow house rules: clean, quiet, non-smoking • Are you willing to look after my dog when I travel? This is usually for about 2 weeks every 5-6 weeks (no anticipated summer travel yet). His needs are morning walk ~730/8am, mid-day walk ~1pm, evening ~5/6pm and night walk before bed. You will share the space with me and my dog Zephyrus (Husky x Aussie). I am a climate scientist working for an NGO looking to share the space with someone great who is friendly, clean and respectful. I am social and like to go out and meet my friends and enjoy spending time together, and also love my quiet nights in watching TV with Zephrus on the couch. I rarely host anyone over and like to have my space quiet and clean. I love to go for runs along the sea wall and forest from my place, hike the local mountains almost every weekend, workout in the building gym, and play Ultimate frisbee. I am queer and I travel often to see my partner in Europe which is why I need help with dog-sitting.
