Ancaster Village, with all its bakeries, coffee shops, spas, boutiques, restaurants, a library, and multiple services, is a short walk or 5 minute drive. Larger stores, e.g. Costco, Fortinos, Food Basics, Shoppers, Winners, DSW, etc., are close by.

I am a young retired PR/marketing business owner. I am honest, decent and kind. Fit and active, with many interests e.g. acting in amateur theatre, foreign travel, creative writing, learning Spanish, tennis, golf, fashion, fitness, etc. Looking into pickleball.

I have one roomie currently; a professioanl female, early 30s, who has been with me for about 2 years. She is a fun, considerate person, and we get along great!

Looking for one, or possibly 2 more roomies, as I have two available bedrooms. This listing is for the “blue room”. (I will post the “rose room” listing shortly.)

I’m hoping to find an honest, reliable person, who is easy to get along with, with a steady income.

Respecting the property by taking reasonable care of it to avoid serious damage is important to me. As is that we ALL respect our fellow roomies by cleaning up after ourselves promptly, being reasonably tidy in the shared living spaces, considerate about noise and guests, respecting eaxhorher’s privacy and space, and contributing fairly to household chores e.g. vacuuming, unloading dishwasher, takinb out.the garbage, etc. (No yard work or snow clearing is expected.) This is key to ensuring all of us can enjoy the house at its best, and that we all get along.

Although we don’t have to become close friends, “fit” is important, so you’d have the opportunity to meet not just me, but my roomie as well, when you come for a viewing.

You would have access to and can enjoy the entire home and backyard spaces, apart from the private bedrooms/bathrooms of others of course, and my study.

There is a home gym in the basement with a treadmill, mats, free weights, and much more. Also a ping pong table and a sitting/TV area. If you have things to store, it may be possible for you to store them in the basement – within reason.

Outdoor space includes two laege covered porches, one with a wrought iron dining table and a BBQ, plus lawn. Sofa, chairs and coffee table. It’s a completely private yard, not overlooked at all, with tall cedars as the backdrop.

Proof of renter’s liability insurance is a requirement to rent, and I can help you arrange, (if you like).

This home and room will appeal to someone with a healthy housing budget, but who prefers not to live alone, and/or who doesn’t want to live in a basement apartment for the same price or much more.
