I am looking to buy a place. it as near 72nd and 132 in Surrey, so close / in between Scott rd and king george. I do not need a lot of space myself, so my plan is to wall off the living room and dining area and have that as my living space, and rent out the 2 decent sized bedrooms.

The kitchen would be shared, however I would have my own fridge in my space so you would share the kitchen fridge with just the one other person.

The kitchen has a dish washer, and there is a clothes washer and dryer as well.

Just the one bathroom to share.

I have no problem doing the dishes and all the cleaning of the common areas, as long as you scrap the dishes clean and don’t make much mess. I don’t mind cleaning up, but i don’t want to clean up after people, if that makes sense. I had a couple roommates before where like I’d clean the floor and within a couple hours they were dirty again. I do not want that kind of thing again

the 2 rooms are roughly 10’ x 15’, so pretty big. both have a closet.

The unit gets 2 parking spots. I will take one. If we need a third one there’s probably somebody that would rent theirs out.

rent will be $1000 plus a share of utilities.

I am decent, quiet, responsible and respectful guy. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink often, I don’t party. My son would come over to visit but he’s 17 and a good kid. Having friends over would be rare. I basically just go to work, go to the gym, and play video games. I’ve been told plenty of times over the years that I am a great roommate.

I don’t care what nationality you are or what sexual orientation. All I care about is you are a clean, relatively quiet and respectful person who pays the rent on time.

I haven’t purchased the place yet but I’m posting about it now because if I find a couple good people to rent then I will definitely buy it. Not sure when everything would be settled.

So yeah, let’s make a home. I’ve seen what’s out there to rent and this is a nice place comparatively.
