Hi! We’re two 3rd year music students at Carleton University, and are looking for two people to join our household with a lease starting May 2026 through to April 2027. Please read the following information to get to know the apartment and the two of us :)

Apartment information: Our apartment is the third floor (No elevator) back unit of a 3 story apartment complex on Bronson Ave, a 10 minute bus ride from Carleton and a 20 minute bus ride from Ottawa U. The unit has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and Griffin and I (Lauren) will be sharing a bathroom, so you will be required to share a bathroom with another roommate (If you have a friend that is also interested in one of the rooms please let us know in the last question/comment section of the form).

As for our preferences: we are a queer-friendly household. There are also some allergies so we’d like those moving to know how to handle allergens (specifically, we will be a peanut-free cat-free household)! We also favour a clean and tidy living environment. We are ok with substances, just as long as it’s respectful and in your own space rather than the shared spaces.

Some important details:

• The building is very new, we are the second tenants to live in the unit.
• Rent is 758$ a month which includes water.
• Wi-Fi is approximately 15-20$ a month per person.
• Hydro varies but is anywhere from 8-30$ a person per month.
• Natural gas varies anywhere from 8-30$ a person per month.
• The apartment is located near two bus routes (the 10 and the 14), it’s a 15 minute walk from a grocery store, 30 minute walk from Lansdowne, and it’s relatively quiet depending on our neighbours.
• There is no parking available for the unit, however there is street parking nearby.
• The unit has its own washer and dryer.
• Bedrooms will be unfurnished because our previous roommates will be moving out, but we still have a couch, dining table, and some kitchen necessities.
• Just as a disclaimer we are not open to having subletters for the summer.

About Lauren: Hello! I enjoy cooking, watching movies, altering clothes, and making/listening to music :):) I enjoy a good mix of going out and staying in, and I’m a bit of a night owl :) I’m a very friendly outgoing person, but also do enjoy my alone time. I’m hoping to find roommates who are also down to being friends!

About Griffin: I’m a very arts-loving person and I’ve got a lot of hobbies in arts+crafts and music. I’m a very open person and love making new friends. I like new experiences but I value alone time so I cycle through phases of being out a lot and being home all the time. I hope we can be friends as well as roommates :]
