About the room
Looking for a roommate to share a cozy and comfortable 2br 1bth space in Surrey, right next to Green Timbers Park and King George Station (91a Ave & 139 St). Available starting March 1.
Your share would be $850 per month. All utilities are included, except for wi-fi, which would be $30 extra per person. There is no dishwasher and no laundry on sight, but several laundromats nearby. Plenty of street parking, and you may even be able to use the side driveway (see photo). Central electric heating that we can control. Unit is attached to landlords’ house, but we have our own separate side entrance.
Landlords are a friend of mine’s parents, and they’re super nice and responsive. Although we cannot store anything in the garden, we’d still have access to chill there. Although largely an unfurnished unit, the current tenants are willing to sell me most of what you see in the last living room photo, so those will likely stay.

About the roomies
Since I am ideally looking for someone who is clean, respectful, and who I would get along well with, I’d like to conduct a brief 15 minute video interview with you to learn a bit more about you first. I believe this extra step will be well worth it for both of us to gauge compatibility and find a harmonious living situation.
A bit about me; I am an administrative assistant for SFU who plans to attend law school in the near future. I’m a motorcycle rider, hiker, and am way into all things geeky; films, books, video games, board games, etc. Although I’m generally an introvert and need stretches of quiet time, I still love socializing and the occasional party/group hangout. No pressure if your interests don’t totally align with mine though; I am mainly looking for someone who is empathetic, considerate, and committed to keeping a space tidy.
