The unit is a garden suite with 850 sq ft. This cozy home offers a large spacious bedroom, in suite laundry and ample kitchen space with appliances. It comes complete with a private entrance through a recently renovated back yard area. There is garden area out front surrounded by plants for seclusion, perfect for relaxing, reading, or enjoying warm evenings outdoors.
The private bedroom is approximately 115 sq ft. It comfortably holds a queen sized bed, a night stand, a desk and a dresser and still has room to move around. At this time, I don’t have photo’s of the room as my roommate is still currently living within the space until the end of February.
The kitchen has several cupboards with ample storage space. Kitchen appliances consists of the fridge, microwave, and a oven / glass top stove which was newly purchased when my roommate moved in a few years ago.
You’ll also have access to a shared laundry room conveniently connected to the living room, which comes equipped with a full-sized washer and dryer.
The suite is ideal for someone who already has their own furniture, as most of the furnishings belonged to my previous roommate. That said, I’m very open to collaborating on any essential furniture purchases so the space feels right for both of us.
Location is a huge plus, the suite sits directly across from a large park and just a few blocks from Kingsway and knight, surrounded by great restaurants, cafés, and produce stores. There is ample street parking available with no permit needed.
Transit & commute:
It is just myself and my cat in the suite after March 1st. I’m a big gamer and mostly keep to myself at home, but I’m also a very social outgoing person. I don’t ever have parties but a friend sometimes comes over to hang out. I’m very conscious of affecting the people in my space, noise and otherwise. So I’m mindful of harmony in the house.
I’ve been here for 6 years, the landlord has been very kind to me in that time and proactively responds to issue’s in our suite. Feel free to inquire about anything you’re concerned about that I didn’t touch on here!
