About the room
A cozy, unfurnished room for rent in a 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the Junction! Steps away from multiple buses that are a 5 min ride from Keele and Dundas West subway stations!! FYI - The room currently has desks and other stuff but that will all be moved out.
Unfortunately not an accessible space, due to stairs to enter the unit.
1 year lease starting April 1, 2026.
$1126.11 hydro and utilities included! Internet is extra, split between us (wifi cost tbd), coin laundry on site.
Required documents for application: Credit check Landlord references Last month’s rent deposit
This is a queer friendly space! Preferred female identified, but we are open - good vibes only.
The apartment occupies the 2nd and 3rd floor of a Victorian house. We have high ceilings, large windows, lots of natural light, exposed brick walls, a spacious shared balcony, and an excellent landlady.
Shared areas: Living room, kitchen, and bathroom, on the main floor plus a library/ workspace upstairs. My room is also upstairs so you’ll have privacy in the room downstairs!
The apartment is cat friendly, there is a cat living here who will be moving out in April.
My roommate is moving on to bigger and better things and I’m sad to see her go!!
Some of the furniture in the space belongs to our roommate who is moving out so if you have your own things you’ll be more than welcome to help us re-imagine this beautiful space with some artistic vision.
No parking, unfortunately. But I believe there’s street parking.
About the roomies
About me: I’m Anushka and I work as an event manager and I will be starting full time university this fall. Currently, I work from home on some days but that could change. I’m more of a night owl (when I can) and hangout at home doing crafts or watching TV, I also love making cocktails—hence the bar cart. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have! :)
About you: You are a respectful, clean, and thoughtful roommate who also loves cats.
You are someone who takes initiative in the house to take out the garbage when it’s full, wipe down dirty surfaces, and overall treat the space with respect and tidiness.
Someone who understands the delicate balance roommates require—we hang out together when we want to, but are also respectful of privacy and boundaries! I’m ideally looking for someone who has lived with roommates before so that you’ll already understand this balance! Not really a party house but always down to share some cocktails or a bottle of wine.
