One pet-friendly, partially furnished private room with a private FULL bath available MARCH 1st in the heart of Port Moody! It’s a 2 minute walk from Inlet Skytrain Station (40-50 min ride to VCC-Clark Station on Millennium Line), 5 minute walk to Suterbrook Shopping Centre, 8 minute walk to a Save-On-Foods, and a Shopper’s Drug Mart right across the street.

$1200 per month including utilities and internet, in-suite laundry, two available parking spots and storage locker access in the underground parkade. NO DAMAGE OR PET DEPOSITS REQUIRED (both are already fully covered for the entire unit). The room comes with an expanding bed that can fit up to a queen mattress and wooden shelf. However, both these can be moved out of the room if desired. Room can be made in the common spaces for any desired furniture being brought in.

As this is a pet-friendly unit, another fur baby is welcome to join the house with you, so long as they are gentle/good around cats and trained (or in training school). :)

Port Moody is a beautiful area, with lots of greenery, walking trials, and local businesses to check out. Each season has its own beautiful characteristics in the surrounding nature, but Spring is especially lovely with the cherry blossom trees at City Hall in full bloom. We are also just one Skytrain stop from Coquitlam Central Station and the large mall there.

I’m a 32 queer year old woman, working remotely in non-profit/government policy advocacy and lobbying. My home office is located in my bedroom, thus I am hardly out in the common area during the working day except for food or household chores.

I have two gentle senior cats (Callie and Luna) who love to cuddle, making myself and my two fur babies the other other occupants in the home. I enjoy hobbies such as playing video games, drawing, painting, singing, going for walks, or having karaoke nights! I also do part-time streams on Twitch (usually art), so even off work time I will be hanging out in my room. I’m also in a long-distance relationship, thus I am often in video calls with my significant other (8 hour time difference), but keep the volume quite outside of daytime hours. One thing to note is that I am immunocompromised so I tend to stay home and prefer to limit company as much as possible, and ask that a roommate does not frequently bring unannounced guests or host parties.

I am looking for someone who is respectful, clean, and perhaps shares similar hobbies we can get along with! I am flexible to have meals or do things together if desired, but I have no expectation from someone staying here to do so. I’m all around laid back and just looking for someone who fits the vibe. :)
