I’m looking for someone to sign a 1-year lease and take over a private room in a spacious 2-bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. It’s a bright, ultra-modern space.

Lease details: This would be a 1-year lease from April 1st, 2026 to March 31st, 2027.

A bit about the space: The apartment and room are both fully furnished. The room comes with a queen sized bed, mattress, cupboard, side table, monitor desktop, and floor lamp.

The apartment comes with a sofa, coffee table, TV stand. The apartment is also fitted with a 4K UHD 55-inch TV complemented by a soundbar and sound system. The kitchen has modern appliances (including a dishwasher, and oven). Laundry facilities are also included inside the apartment.

The apartment has a cozy dining area furnished with a marble top table with seats. The apartment has a balcony that shows gorgeous views of the Toronto skyline along with glimpses of the waterfront.

Accessibility: There’s a streetcar and bus stop (King St E & Sherbourne St) <1 minute walk from the building entrance. Union station & financial district is a 20 minute walk away. Distillery district is a 13 minute walk, while the St. Lawrence market is 7 minutes by walk. The waterfront is also nearby – a 10 minute walk away. There are many PBSC bicycle stations in the vicinity as well.

Locality: An ideal mix of modern & historical buildings dotted with luxury furniture stores, coffee shops, and Italian restaurants. George Brown’s campus is 2 minutes away, and so it’s a young, safe neighbourhood.

Rent: The rent for the room is $1600 per month (including heat & water). WiFi & Electricity are not included.

Building: There’s a guest suite in the building, a gym, and a party room. There’s also a guest parking facility that can be available.

I am a sociable, laid-back 29-year-old male working in the banking industry. I work a hybrid office schedule with four days in the office and one day at home. I occasionally have friends over and would be fine with a roommate that also enjoys hosting friends. I enjoy working out and watching sports, particularly the Premier League and the NBA.
