Ugh! Looking for a place really sucks. I’m rootin’ for ya though. You got this. Anywho, check this out… we got a room in our cottage style house in the Cedar Cottage neighbourhood. $1000 all inclusive. We are two females and 1 male (that’s me, I’m Jeremy). The room is about 100sq2 with a mirrored door closet. It is unfurnished. You will share a bathroom with 1 other person, but there is also a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor. The kitchen is full equipped. The laundry is free and in the basement. It’s shared with the two chill guys living in the basement suite. We are all working professionals and prefer a quiet, chill person. There are two cats living in the house. It’s important that you be cool with them. We are a 10 minute walk to Nanaimo Skytrain, 3 minutes to buses 19,20,25. 20 minutes walk to Commercial / Broadway. Near Famous Foods, Save on, Dollar store, coffee shops, Trout Lake park. The house is totally furnished and we have streaming services Prime, Netflix, DAZN, Fubo, Tubi, Pluto, …. Back deck is covered for the casual toke.

I’m Jeremy and I have been renting this house since 2010. I have a great relationship with the landlord and our home is stable. I work in social services as does my partner (roomie #1). We have been together 2 decades and enjoy a warm, respectful relationship. Our two kitties are the “cat’s ass”. They will charm you with their cuteness. Our other roomie has been living with us for nearly 3 years. She is an artist, school teacher and all-round chill gal.
