About the room
There is a shared bathroom and a parking garage is available for an additional charge. There is also a free parking lot for guests. And the apartment is very close to a lot of bus stops because it’s right beside the University of Waterloo (which is great for students since it’s walking distance to campus). The entire unit, building, and surrounding area is completely accessible. Pets and smoking are not allowed in the apartment. Please provide proof of income and ID if you’re interested.
Here is the room being offered since they don’t allow videos https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZRss3ZJ3aeTCAcxQkKCasUQoY8hRp57ykX
About the roomies
I am 31 years old and disabled and looking for a roommate that can also help me with some things I can’t do on my own.
So you’re aware of my capabilities, here is some background on me. I walk with a walker, I am slightly weak, the dexterity in my left side isn’t great, my voice is quieter and hoarse, and I have poor eye sight.
The help I will need is as follows: -Moving or carrying big/heavy objects -Some cleaning like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming -Grocery shopping -Complicated cooking -Tasks that require good dexterity or precision
For reference I have lived with someone that works 50-70 hours a week, mostly in person, and it has worked out fine.
This isn’t a requirement but age wise it would be better to have someone over 25. Also it’s important to be clean and organized because tidiness affects my mobility/access to certain areas since I use a walker.
