📍Location: Yonge and Eglinton. 5-minute walk to Eglinton subway and LRT. 5-15minute walk to several supermarkets, fruit stands, clinics, pharmacies, salons, cafes, pubs, Cineplex, community centre, public park and the Yonge & Eglinton Centre mall.

🏡Room: Offering a private bedroom in 2 bed 1 bathroom apartment. Shared bathroom and kitchen (fully equipped), in a rent-controlled and very well-maintained, renovated apartment building. The room comes with a built-in closet and large windows. The living room has been converted into a second bedroom (mine).

🛏The room is currently unfurnished but I’m happy to furnish it with new furniture (most likely from ikea).

*Amenities: Laundry room on every floor of the building. An outdoor pool (summer only).

💰Rent is all-inclusive: The posted rate includes rent, hydro, internet and a bi-monthly cleaning service.

🐶Pets: I used to foster a cat. I don’t mind if you bring your own cat, or are open to me fostering/adopting a cat down the line.

About the roomies

I’m a woman in my mid-thirties. A working professional with a busy and irregular schedule due to my work in events. Some days I’m barley home, and some days are a typical 9-5 (or less). I’m easy going and friendly and love to keep the apartment low-key. When not working, I am out and about with my boyfriend or spend time at his place so you’ll have the place to yourself most of the time. When home, I usually keep to myself, binge watch sitcoms and cook up a storm once or twice a week. Once or twice a month I game online with friends and can get a bit loud (nothing wild, just passionate commentary that may sound like I’m fighting for my life). It is a very quiet place sans for the 1-2 game nights a month.

Totally fine if you like going out, having drinks or coming home at random hours - just not hosting parties at home. This setup works best for someone independent, working professional or a student, and comfortable spending most of their downtime in their own space. A do-your-own-thing living situation.
