This is a quiet and peaceful co-op building and community in a prime location: lake; parks; TTC; Go; shopping; libraries; close to Humber College; etc. The room is bright, clean, quiet, spacious and south-facing. It has a queen sized bed, desk and office chair. Bring your own beddings. Google map: 3621 Lakeshore Boulevard West, Etobicoke.

Share one bathroom and furnished kitchen. I usually use the pool’s showers anyway. The kitchen has an oven-stove, microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with cookware, crockery and utensils.

I provide the general cleaning supplies and hand soaps. You chip in for toilet rolls. There are no cleaning schedules; we clean and tidy up after use for the next person. I do periodic general cleaning. This is a scent-free household. No smokers, please.

This is a month-to-month rental with a month’s notice either way to terminate rental. Long term roommates preferred.

Underground garage parking is additional $40/month. Laundry is in the building: $2.25/wash; $1-$1.25/dry. $500 deposit to reserve rental; balance of first and last month’s rents by move-in day via e-transfer.

Refundable deposits: $50 deposit for the lobby and laundry room key fob; $90 for the garage key fob; $10 deposit for the bicycle room key.

I own this place and I collaborate with the university on an AI tech startup. I’m into healthy living and swim or run or something daily; likes to read and do quiet things. Cleanliness is important.

The other roommate is a young guy who is clean, quiet, a non-smoker, respectful and easy-going. He has a friendly cat that can get along with other friendly animals after the initial shyness. I am open to a housetrained small to midsized dog, maybe another cat too.

We usually make simple meals.

If you are a non-smoker, clean, responsible, quiet, easy-going and like animals, we should get along fine. We’re quiet but we’re up for interesting conversations.
