Hey there, just just starting my search for a roommate in September to rent out a room in a beautiful character home located in central Calgary, minutes away from downtown. Walking distance to saddledome/stampede grounds. The very trendy/sought after neighborhood is truly the draw to the place along with the living room in a loft with skylights, a backyard with fire pit and ample storage.

Room is cozy with large closet and private half bath with large mirrors/natural sun. Though I’d say it’s more us splitting the house as a whole rather than you just renting a “room”. As bills aren’t included, but split equally (see Wishlist below lol) I’d say your portion of rent as a whole averages around $1,300-1,400/per month/all-in with internet in that price as well.

Room can be furnished for an additional cost. Most if not all of the house is already furnished, though I can be open to putting my things in the basement for storage etc.

Pet friendly within guidelines… pet must be house trained, you must be a responsible pet owner and provide the proper care, must pick up after your pet on a regular, reoccurring basis and the pet must not cause any damage whatsoever to the home or contents within. My old girl is 13 and very aloof, rarely barks and would expect the same along with your pet having to get along with mine via park visit leading up to agreement.
