LOCATION: H7V 1B2 Apartment Complex, 4th Floor, Waterfront Access

Looking for a full-time worker or full-time student. No pets. No smoking indoors or on the balcony.

ABOUT THE HOME: Clean-as-you-go. Quiet, introvert-friendly space in a peaceful building. This is not a collective household. Must be clean in shared areas and respect basic house rules. No home-based businesses allowed.

THE APARTMENT: 3-bedroom unit – including you, there will be 3 roommates total.

RENT INCLUDES: Heat, Hydro, and Unlimited Internet.

ROOM SIZE: 9.6’ x 13’ – Furnished with a clean mattress (with protector), desk, curtains, mirror, shelf, and hangers. Bring your own bedding (sheets, warm blankets, quilt).

SHARED KITCHEN:

• 1 dedicated storage section (4 squares/shelves) per person
• 1 shelf in fridge and 1/3 of freezer space
• Shared stove and kitchen table
• Shared dishes and cookware (some exclusions in Roommate Agreement)

SHARED BATHROOM (with one person): Weekly cleaning rotation required.

SHARED HALL CLOSET: 1/4 hanging space for a jacket.

BUILDING AMENITIES: Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Indoor Pool, Library Lounge, Theatre, Billiards Room.

BUILDING SERVICES: Laundry, Dep, Pharmacy, Salon, Sewing Store, Clinic.

• Free street parking.
• Riverfront location with park access and bike paths.

TRANSIT:

• 15-min walk to the Montreal-side bridge.
• 20-min bus to Cartier Metro.
• Or walk across to catch the 69-Ouest to Henri-Bourassa Metro, or take a bus to Cote-Vertu Metro.

EXTRA EXPENSES:

• Key deposit: $40 (refundable). Includes building key, apartment key, and laundry card.
• Cleaning supplies: Must provide your own.
• Window cleaning: Once per year, shared cost – to be discussed.

MAIL: Your mail will be placed under your door. If you want your own mailbox key, you’ll need to get a Canada Post PO box (optional: $5–$38/month).

ABOUT ME: I’m a 47-year-old full-time artist (ADHD, auditory processing disorder, and other invisible disabilities). The main room doubles as my creative studio, which occasionally transforms for large projects (e.g., photoshoots). I’m vaccinated and looking for someone who thrives in a respectful, artistic space.

ABOUT YOU:

• Mature, clean (non-negotiable), reliable, and responsible.
• Must follow shared household expectations.
• Looking for a long-term renter.

COUPLES: $900/month for 2 people in 1 room. (don’t really want to live with a couple as it makes the house crowded).

APPLICATION PROCESS:

1. Virtual meeting via Zoom, Skype, or Facebook.
2. In-person viewing of the apartment.
3. Lease finalized once first month’s rent is paid and Roommate Agreement is signed in person.
