Located in the North End of Peterborough, on a quiet, mature, tree lined street and within walking distance to a bus stop for Trent University students and Fleming College students. The room is private and offers lots of space. It comes already furnished with a queen size bed frame, couch, two dressers, small bookcase and a desk and chair for students. There is two large closets for storage. There is a three piece bathroom located outside the bedroom, but is located in the laundry room). The bathroom is for your own personal use, but the laundry facilities are shared with the homeowners and one other tenant upstairs. Shared use of the upstairs kitchen, with your own full size fridge/freezer located downstairs. Shared use of the backyard (bbq, deck and outdoor fireplace). Close to amenities ( Walmart, convenience store, Dollar Rama, grocery stores and fast food restaurants). Guests are welcome with some notice please. Must love pets! We have three dogs and two cats.

I am in my mid 50s, and work full time as a Personal Support Worker. My husband is in his late 50s, and works in manufacturing. His adult daughter lives with us. She is in her mid 20s, and works in childcare. One tenant lives upstairs in his early 30s. We are friendly individuals, and respect each other’s privacy. We do like to chat and talk about how are day went. We take pride in our home and like a clean home. We have many different interests. Reading, baking, gardening, fishing, camping, photography, watching a good movie or television show.
