This is a room for rent in a 3 bed 1 bath house. The room has hardwood floors, newly installed blinds, a closet (there’s also 2 extra shared closets). The room also gets a good amount of sun throughout the day.

The common areas include the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The unit has been recently renovated and has a dishwasher as well as in unit washer/dryer. The living room is quite large and the kitchen has a ton of storage. The unit also has a balcony and a both a backyard area and a front garden)

The best part of living here is the location. It takes around 4 minutes to walk to the lake (specifically lakeshore park). It’s about a 10 minute walk to Long Branch Loop making it really easy to catch a bus to Kipling or Islington Station or a street car to Downtown.

Stores in the area (within a 10 minute walk) include NoFrills, Dollarama, Rexall, Tim Hortons, lots of restaurants including fine dining and fast food. There’s a Toronto Public Library and a few dispensaries as well as the LCBO and The Beer Store.

Any additional costs (utilities, hydro, internet) are split 3 ways (usually averaging an additional $75 a month)

Hiii! If you were to move in with us, you would be living with 2 other individuals. Myself (Nelly, 27F) and my roommate Mikey (30M). We currently both work at the same coffee shop and as such are quite good friends. We both work secondary jobs as well (Mikey for TD and myself in Insurance).

We are both fairly social people (Mikey more so than myself) and as such we have a lot of yap sessions. Ideally you would be someone who enjoys a good Ki but if not, your room is conveniently located farthest from the living room where we commonly congregate. We both really enjoy being outdoors and completing random side quests. We both (try to) cook for ourselves daily and Mikey is an amazing baker :) We’re also very tidy and keeping a clean home for everyone is defiantly a priority of ours. We are also both queer and partakers of the lovely Mary Jane so if either of those things bother you, look elsewhere! If you do smoke (weed only) there’s absolutely no smoking in the house but you can smoke on the balcony/ backyard or take a quick 5 minute walk to the lake!

We moved into this home in April of this year and unfortunately, our third roommate was no longer able to move in due to a loss of employment (boo layoffs) :( So that’s why we’re looking for another roommate! If you are a woman or queer, 420 friendly, clean + tidy, and just an overall nice person pls reach out! We would really love to schedule a viewing at the earliest convenience!
