About the room
We are looking for someone to take over the third room in our three-bedroom home in the Riley Park area. We are located near grocery stores, pharmacies, great cafes and restaurants. Our ideal candidate would be someone in their mid-late twenties or early thirties (as we are), We’re looking for someone who’s okay with being independent, but enjoys family meals and socializing over a games night from time to time. The room comes unfurnished, a nice big closet and big windows that catch the evening sun.
Rent is $917.00 a month plus Internet ($50 a month split 3 ways), with utilities split between us and our downstairs neighbors every other month. We rent out our back garage to someone who uses the space to work on his motorcycle , so we each dock $117 from our rent, making the monthly rent $817.00. Please understand that if at any point he stops renting the garage, your rent will go up by $117.00 until we find someone else.
Historically, with our third roommate, we all made an effort to keep the home tidy, though we recognize when there’s a need for a deep clean. You would be joining us on a month-to-month basis. If the fit feels right, you could potentially hop on the lease as well.
There is laundry downstairs. It is free but we share it with our downstairs neighbors. We also have a decent sized storage space downstairs, which is not shared with the neighbors.
We’re looking for someone, tidy, respectful, LGBTQ+ friendly, and willing to communicate any issues as they arise. This is a lovely home and we’re really looking for the right fit here.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please message us. We look forward to hearing from you! Matt & Michaela
