Hi everyone, I’m an Australian who’s looking for a rental somewhere in between the MacDonald Campus of McGill (where I’ll start a 1 year contract) and Downtown (closer to my friends from when I lived in Montreal a few years back). My current work and new work have given me…1 whole weekend to move :p. I’m looking for both something short term from 18 Oct (for a few weeks up to 1-2 months) while I find my feet and then something more long term.

I’ve been learning French for a few years now and I’m very keen to continue that and find out more about French/Bilingual/English life in MTL - it’s not something that we have in Australia!

About me: Ok, I’ll admit, I can be boring - I like super unique (:P) things like chatting away with friends, walking around and exploring new places, watching the news (I guess Ottawa is good for that!). My favourite TV show is Dr Who and my favourite band is the Cure, but I’ve been trying to watch french stuff lately, to keep up the language skills. Is it too lame to say Radio-Canada is what I’ve been watching the most of lately?

I’d like a house/appartement that likes to chat from time to time but where people can also do their own thing (how original!). That said, I get it, life is busy and sometimes people just want a sanctuary!

The best moment of my life: Once, a kitten slept on my face. This was over 10 years ago but I don’t think I’ll ever have a happier moment.
