Hi there, I’m an Austrian recent graduate in the craft of digital filmmaking and will work in Vancouver starting January. My current contract runs for a year, but there is a good chance I will extend, depending on how nice the city is to me!

My Girlfriend is staying in our shared apartment in Stuttgart for now (and she might visit briefly in the Summer), so I’m trying to keep my living expenses on a budget, as tough as that may be in the city that is Vancouver. So I’d be happy to get together with others on a similar endeavour.

I tend to be a passionate workaholic, especially when I am starting at a new place as I will be doing, but in this new world I am especially keen on making connections where I can, with as many people and places as the time will allow. When I’m not dedicated to my trade, I love to go bouldering, do delicious (super-bulk) prep-cooking, hiking, and working out at home. I used to be a passionate salsa (social) dancer before I lost contact to my crew through a move, but if chance arose I’d love to get into it again.

I could probably be considered a starry-eyed idealist do-gooder, with a keen interest in all things sustainability, and I like pretending that my actions have some marginal benefit to the world we inhabit. I’ve been living in shared housing most of my adult life, so I would consider myself fairly easy to live with - also in terms of tidy- and cleanliness.

In terms of move-in-dates, I am very flexible, as I planned on taking an AirBnB at first anyway. Finding something furnished to live in would be the dream, but I’m a veteran (wannabe) budget-interior-designer and am happy to make an empty place liveable too.
