Hello, I’m looking for a place to live with my two cats (both fixed) and myself. I have a full house’s worth of furniture, so a team up would be the most ideal. As an introvert on AISH, I never host parties and I rarely leave the home. If anything, I’ll go to a pride event (I’m aro/ace) or something like that, but I never drink or stay out too late.
I’m allergic to nicotine, so I can’t be around people who smoke cigarettes or vape (because vapes contain nicotine). Similarly, the scent of cannabis activates PTSD flashbacks for me and so I refuse to tolerate it.
As for personality, I’m a lover of video games, anime, cartoons, and other various works of fiction. Heck, I even cosplay at conventions! I have an extensive collection of posters (all SFW) and other memorabilia of that nature. It should come as little surprise that I’m autistic (one of the reasons why I’m on AISH) and therefore I might be difficult to connect with at times unless you’re also autistic. I’m still friendly regardless of whether you are or not, though! I also completely understand and respect if you have a different lifestyle, though! Just so long as you’re not drunkenly stumbling in the door with a one night stand at 4AM, we’re good!
I’m very nervous about making this profile and looking for a roommate in this way because I’m been betrayed by several roommates in the past. Be that through harming my cats, theft, destruction of property, verbal abuse, or even SA. But I can’t financially afford to live alone with the local rent prices being as high as they are and ADAP coming into play soon, so I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place, here. Also I can’t drive because I have epilepsy, so I don’t own a vehicle. I’m mentioning this because this means that wherever I live has to have access to public transit. But hey, that means the potential parking space is all yours!
