Jay

Hi, I am Jay. I’ve lived in Calgary all my life and I’m looking to move closer to downtown for work.

Overall, I am a relaxed person and really only need the place to sleep and study on the weekends. I think of myself as easy to work with and, ideally, so are you. I love outdoor sports, reading, collecting (and listening to) records, studying, and watching B-rated movies. I take care of my own mess and I want roommates who do the same. I am not a neat freak or anything but just the basics like doing the dishes on time and general tidiness is something I appreciate. I am usually a social guy but with my workload I tend to keep to myself. I do tend to lock myself in my room for extended periods of time if I have a ton of studying, work projects, or personal projects to finish.

My background is in math and physics and I’m currently working in data. Additionally: I am currently studying for my CFA, finishing a paper for submission, working on a few personal projects, and may potentially go back to school, so I will be plenty busy and out of your hair. I think of myself as a hard working person, with career goals, and would like similar roommate (though I am not picky on this detail). Ideally this arrangement would be for a few years. I want to build my career in the city I grew up in. If you have a place within 15 min drive of downtown, let me know.
