I’ll be starting up my bachelors of psychology at VIU in late August of 2026 (Letter of acceptance has already been deferred). I tend to keep to myself unless invited out into social situations and am quiet for the most part. Overall I try to be very flexible, agreeable and nonconfrontational (though I will still communicate any issues calmly). I’ve never lived on my own before so I’m both nervous and excited to gain new experiences. I do have a cat but she will be staying at home with my mom until I can find a place that will allow her (and until I’m confident I can afford to care for her properly on all fronts) so she shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t smoke nor do I have a car (though I do plan on getting one someday). I’m happy to team up with someone within a decade of my own age (for my safety). I would like to be close to VIU in an ideal situation but I can make arrangements if not.
