Maria

Hello my name is Maria. Originally born in Poland, my family moved to the Thompson-Nicola Region back in 2010. I recently got accepted into the Pharmd program at UBC, starting in September 2025. I’m looking to rent out a private room around the UBC area. I plan on moving in at the start of August, potentially September 1st. Given that I am starting my search quite early I am willing to cover rent costs for the for the right space and right roommate(s) if something is available sooner.

A little more about me and my lifestyle:

• I currently work as a pharmacy assistant where I currently live and hope to transfer locations while I attend school.
• I also enjoy living an active lifestyle, you can find in the gym 4 to 6 times a week, I tend to go earlier in the day and wake up rather early, I respect that other’s need their rest too and I try to be as quiet as possible if I do get up earlier (4am-7am).
• With my last point I also try to nourish my body as best as I can, and I hope to meal prep my meals twice weekly. Just giving a heads up that for those that I’ll be living with that I may require the use of the kitchen for up to 3 hours per day, twice weekly, but on other days my kitchen use will be limited to just heating up my food. I do plan on having this time to work around other’s schedule who I’ll be living with.
• In general I also enjoy reading a good book, going for hikes, and thrifting from time to time.
• I can be described as a quiet individual, I usually open up more with the right company, and I like to keep my space tidy and organized.

I prefer having female roommates, but any gender will do as long as they are respectful.
