I am a mature, friendly and responsible person looking for a few like-minded folks to share a space in Vancouver. I live on the Gulf Islands, after many years of being in the city, and come to Van every few weeks for work and socializing so am looking for a unfurnished private room in a shared house or apartment to stay when I am in town. I am hoping to find a quiet place not far from transit and shops, in central location (ideally west of Victoria Drive and north of 41st Ave). I am a left-leaning, long-time vegetarian (although definitely accepting of other people’s choices), recycler, composter, etc. While not a neat-freak, I like a tidy and clean space, and will do my part to contribute to this. I am OK with smokers as long as it is not done inside, ever! I enjoy a glass of wine or beer, love gardening, live music in small venues, walks in nature and hanging out with my dogs.
