My name is Xandra and I’m looking for a room in a house to rent starting on September 1st, though I would be fine with August 1st as well if need be (though my current rental agreement doesn’t end until the end of August, I know that a lot of people will be looking for a place at the start of September so I am totally open to finding something a month early). My maximum budget is around $1300/month. I am hoping for something more in the $1000 range or less. I am 28, a working professional in retail with a Fine Arts degree from UVic. I am looking to live in a house with roommates, and have experience living with roommates successfully in the past. I can provide references from previous roommates as well as landlords and my employer. A bit about me: I enjoy reading, writing, going for walks, spending time in nature, board games, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. I keep a balance of quiet alone time and socializing. I have no pets myself but would absolutely LOVE to live in a house with dogs and/or cats! Looking for something in the main Victoria area as opposed to Langford or other municipalities (ideally not far from Hillside Mall and downtown without a car).
