Hi! My name’s John and I’m moving to Vancouver in September!

I’ve spent the last 7 years working mostly in hospitality however over the last 12 months I’ve taken a turn into the live music industry. I’ve been working mostly as a Stage Hand/ASM for a couple of festivals this summer season and am now beginning to train as a live sound engineer!

I’m would describe myself a sociable and extroverted person; I love spending time with friends, seeking out live music, being outdoors and meeting new people however I am also a lover of film/television and greatly appreciate a chilled night in, so I tend to find a nice balance being out and active or just taking a load off and watching a great movie! I’m also an avid skiier (hence the move to Canada) and I’m super excited to get out on the local mountains and explore the beauty of BC!

I have also lived with other people before so I fully understand the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and respect for your fellow house-mates so am always mindful and aware of the people with whom I’m sharing a living space.

I’m really excited to be embarking on this adventure and I hope to find some lovely people to live with!
