Bárbara

Hi! My name is Bárbara Thomazini Lopes (she/her), I’m 25 years old and currently doing my Master’s in Animal Science at UNESP in Brazil 🇧🇷. I’ve been selected for an international research exchange program (Mitacs Globalink) in partnership with the University of Saskatchewan, where I’ll be working with swine nutrition and health — a field I’m truly passionate about!

I consider myself a calm, organized, and respectful person. I enjoy a clean and peaceful home environment, but I’m also very open to connecting with new people and learning about different cultures. I love cozy nights in just as much as exploring new places around town.

This will be my first time living in Canada, and I’m very excited about the experience! I’m looking for a welcoming place where I can feel safe and focused on my research while also enjoying a bit of day-to-day exchange with roommates :)
