My name is Carol, and I am currently looking for a furnished room to rent in North Nanaimo, BC. I plan to stay for up to 6 months initially, with the possibility of extending the lease month-to-month depending on my job placement after completing my practicum as a Health Care Assistant. I’d like to mention that I worked as a registered acupuncturist before, and currently I am house sitting for a friend in Alberta. I am full-time studying at Discovery Community College to become a Health Care Assistant. I’m willing to pay the first three months’ rent upfront. My monthly budget is between $700 and $950, which includes utilities, water, heat, Wi-Fi, and parking. I do not have any pets, but I am friendly with cats and dogs and know how to care for cats if needed.
I am a quiet, responsible person — no parties, no recreational drugs — and I value a peaceful environment. I would prefer a room with good sunshine and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I am eager to find a respectful place where I can focus on my studies and settle into the community smoothly.
