Hi, I am looking for a room or apartment to rent! I am Janet, 34 y/o Korean female.

I am hoping to find a room with a private bathroom. Furnished but if unfurnished, less price. Preferably in downtown but open to other options that are easy to transit to downtown and UBC (within 20mins by public transit). No living room rental preferred. Look for respectful and clean tidy place.

I have been living abroad alone for the past 12+ years, mostly in the US, and I ‘ve had many different housemates and roommates. Through that, I’ve learned how to live respectfully and harmoniously with others–clean, quiet, and always considerate of others and shared spaces.

Right now, I’m taking a little break from academia after working as a researcher in the US. and I’ll probably start working soon—maybe hybrid or part-time to start. I also enjoy exploring new places and experiences—especially now that I’m in a new country.
