Nidhil Jacob Mathew

Hello! My name is Nidhil Jacob Mathew, and I’m a new Permanent Resident excited to start my next chapter in Canada. I recently moved here permanently after doing my “soft-landing” last year.

I’m currently seeking employment here as a logistics professional with several years of experience from the UAE. Since my ultimate work location remains unknown, I am seeking a flexible, short-term rental agreement (initially 3-6 months) with the understanding that I may need to relocate closer to my future job.

I am specifically looking for a furnished room in a shared apartment, townhouse, or house in Surrey, BC, close to the core for an easier commute. My ideal budget is $900-1100/month, all-inclusive (utilities, wifi), and I am looking to move in around September 1, 2025.

A bit about me and what I’m looking for in a living situation:

• Respectful and Considerate: I value a clean, quiet, and peaceful home. I’m an ambivert who highly respects personal space and privacy. I imagine us being friendly and cordial, but not necessarily in each other’s business 24/7.

• Genuine Connections: Coming from a fast-paced environment, I’m looking forward to building more authentic and long-term friendships here. I’d love roommates who are open to occasional conversations, maybe sharing a meal, or exploring the city together.

• My Interests: In my downtime, I enjoy watching football (soccer), hitting the gym, and occasionally watching movies.

I’m responsible, tidy, and understand the importance of clear communication about bills and chores. I’m open to discussing the payment structure (first & last, post-dated cheques, e-transfers, etc.) that works best for you.
