I work for the government and I’m looking for a 2bed1bath apartment to share with someone else in downtown Ottawa. I’m down-to-earth and communicative. I usually keep to myself and my room, but I don’t mind engaging in social activities or just sharing space. I really like games, walking/hiking and jigsaw puzzles, and I’m trying to get back into drawing and knitting. I have three small birds - they’re quiet, stay in my room, and won’t bother you or cause a mess, but my preference would be to not live with cats if possible (although I have in the past).

I’m OK with a mild to moderate amount of periodic clutter (but not dirt) and can keep things tidier if needed. I am very sensitive to scents and smells so I am unable to live with people who smoke, sorry. Also avoiding musty basements or places where the HVAC air smells musty.

Right now I work from home most of the time. Bigger rooms are better for me - I’d be looking for something at least as big as a 10x13ft plus closet or 11x12 plus closet, as I have my personal desk, my work desk, my bed, and all my bird stuff. I’ll also need at least 60 days notice to let my current place know I’m moving out. Thanks for reading!
